My 2018 goals

Happy New Year!

Today I would like to share some of my goals for the New Year.

I have always considered myself a pretty organized person. But as I grow older my responsibilities grow with me (I know, you’re socked!). Last year I struggled to stay focused and found myself always re-prioritizing. This hindered my efforts in accomplishing even the smallest of tasks.
So, this year I am changing gears. By having my goals set and written down will help me to achieve them.


My 2018 goals

Here are some of them
1. Exercise 3-4 times a week
Exercise used to be a big part of my daily life for many years. I stopped due to some pregnancy complications, four years ago. Unfortunately, I am still struggling to make it an everyday commitment.
2. Sew in small chunks of time
I am very lucky to have my own sewing room, which means I don’t have to set anything up before sewing. Unfortunately, I have gotten into the habit of not doing anything sewing related if I can’t devote at least two hours straight. This practice slows me down and I am working towards changing it.
3. Connect more with friends
I am very thankful for every person that I can call a friend. And I am always looking for ways to enrich each relationship. Spending time with them in meaningful ways is always on the top of my list.
4. Set work hours
Since I work from home and use my phone so much it is hard to not multi-task. But by doing so I have mediocre results in both my projects and my parenting. Setting work hours will help me be more focused and efficient in my work and more present and patient as a parent.
